Our Mission Statement:

"To develop premium live musical artists through the creation of events that meets the need
for music venues to satisfy patrons with synergistic live music experiences. Black Label
creates opportunities that bring together musical artists, venue operators, and live music
fans by facilitating trusting, honest, and ethical relationships leaving all parties better off
through the enrichment of the community manifested in the _expression of live music."

Black Label Promotions is operated by a small group of people who have been involved in
the live music industry in one way or another on a local and national level most of their adult
lives.

You won’t find a long list of bands on our roster because we only work with the very best
veterans in live music, and we only work with the best new acts that hold the most promise
for the future. Many of our groups have toured on a regional and national level, or they are
gearing up to do so. Many write, compose, perform, and distribute their own original music—
but they’re happy to play favorite covers for their fans as well.

Black Label Promotions is committed to joining the right live music shows with the right
venues. If you’re operating a rock club, we’re not going to schedule a country band in your
house just to get a date (that’s actually happened to the best of them) and vice versa, we
won’t schedule a rock band in a country house etc. We also do not represent artists that we
have not heard or seen ourselves, and we continue to work with our artists on professional
development. That means we will not schedule an artist that we do not personally review on
an on-going basis. So you can be sure that every time you hire a Black Label artist, you’re
getting one of the best live performances around.

You’re thinking…hmmm…sounds too good to be true, what’s the catch? The only catch is
that we ask you to honor the unspoken code of the road of the local live music industry. You
may work with booking agents and think…hmmm…but they’ve done a good job for us. Thats
great. We’re not interested in taking the place of your current booking agent. We manage
and develop live music artists first and foremost. We’re only interested in making sure our
artists are the right match for your club, which is why our groups prefer not to work through
other agents. We only ask that you call us direct if you’re interested in a Black Label Artist.
That way, we can be absolutely sure that what you want is exactly what you’re getting. That’s
it. We’ll even help you promote the shows by providing promo material and CDs you can
play in your club to get your clients pumped up for the show, and we can help you make
contacts for print and radio ads—if you’re not already connected.

Our goal is to unite local musicians and vocal artists into one big marketing machine that
makes us all better off. If that’s how you feel too, give us a call.
